Frequently asked questions
How does an online (E-) puja work?
A pandit in India performs the puja live over Google Meet, Zoom or WhatsApp video. You receive a samagri checklist in advance, join from home and take part — sankalp in your family name and gotra, offerings and aarti.
Can I get a puja done at a temple in India on my behalf?
Yes. Priests can perform pujas such as Rudrabhishek, Satyanarayan Puja or Pitru Tarpan at sacred places like Varanasi or Gaya in your family's name. Send an enquiry with the puja, place and date you have in mind.
How much does an E-Puja cost?
It depends on the puja, the place and the pandit. MyPujaWorld does not take payments — the coordinator shares the details and you agree them directly.
What time zone will the puja be in?
Pandits in India can usually schedule early-morning or late-evening slots to suit families in the UK, USA, the Gulf and Australia. Mention your time zone in the request.
